About NSS
Keshav Memorial Institute of Commerce and Sciences (KMICS) is one of the Glorious Educational Institute run under the Flag of Keshav Memorial Educational Society which has a history of greatest educational services in Pre-Independence Era, to build with a National Patriotism of Swadeshi, Swabhasha and Swabhiman. Based on this, KMICS has a NSS Unit with Motto to encourage the students to inculcate the social services activities to build them as Social Citizen of India.
The unit is run by Sri. Sanjay Raj .K Programme Officer. The unit has 100 students has enrolled in ths services. The various social programmes organized during the academic year 2016 - 2017. Programmes like Swatch Bharath, Haritha Haaram etc. conducted by Central and State Government during the Academic Year.
- Haritha Haaram in the Month of July 2016, by planting the more than 50 Plants / Saplings in the college campus. Chief Guest Hyderabad City Mayor Bonthu Ram Mohan.
- Swatch Bharath Programme during the month of Oct. 2016 in College Campus on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi.
- In the month of Jan. 2017 Youth Festival on Celebrations of Swami Vivekananda Jaynthi, programme organized Kite Festival, Food Festival and Cultural Activties at College Campus.
- On Jan. 23, 2017 a Blood Donation camp conducted on the occasion of Subash Chandra Bose Jayanthi by NSS Students.
- Month of Feb 2017 a Women Empowerment Programme conducted by NSS Women Students .
